Stockbraid Floggers & Cat O' Nines

Ah a Cat o’ Nine Tails. Lots of sting, minimum effort! Famous in so many books and legends. Was the primary flogging instrument in the British Royal Navy from the mid-18th till early 20th century. They were Typically made with tarred or rawhide cords, so we end each of our 9/18 tails with a bit of rubber to give it that extra sting! There could be so many types of leather used on a Cat O’ Nine tails. We use our stock braided leather as ours but technically anything with 9 tails would be considered a “Cat of 9 tails”. This is another one of those basic items that everyone should have in their bag. If you want to add some thud, make it a double. Four-strand round braided flogger (9 tails for single/18 tails for a double). If 2 stock numbers are the same except for “A/B” at the end, they are/were a twinset & can be purchased separately or together.
