Moose is what’s referred to as a Game Hide, so the weights are all over the place. On the thinner side they’re similar to elk, but they get way thicker and thuddier at what’s called moccasin weight, with a spongier thickness. If elk feels a bit too soft for you, this is a great choice and another great pick for a first flogger. If you see some in stock, buy it immediately, as we often go months without getting any in.
